FrugalFlyer.com uses its own proprietary database and search algorithms that includes millions of city pair combinations (including hub connections) and the airlines which fly these routes. In addition, we have a comprehensive database of all the world’s major hotels and car rentals. We provide coverage for almost 40,000 cities throughout the world.

What is unique about webport and Frugal Flyer is our goal to match your travel needs with the vendor most likely to satisfy them and to do it directly. We do not sell airiline tickets, hotel rooms or provide rental cars. Instead we use our search technology to match you with the airline, hotel or rental car company most likely to provide the best price. We let you view the offer directly from the vendor’s website so that you can appreciate the full complement of services and options they provide. Whenever possible we take you directly to the vendor’s website, supply the vendor with your travel details and display an offer from the vendor. For most major airlines, hotels, rental car companies and even many travel agencies we are able to supply you with an offer based on your travel needs directly at the vendor’s website. However, with some travel sites, which we identify ahead of time, you will need to enter your travel information to receive an offer. Even in these circumstance, however, the vendors we list have been determined by our search technology to be able to provide you with an offer after you enter your travel details.

Over the years Webport/FrugalFlyer.com has had more than a million visitors. In 2011 we changed our name from Webport.com to FrugalFlyer.com to more accurately reflect what we are about. We continue to support Webport.com but we encourage you to upgrade to the more comprehensive and updated FrugalFlyer.com.
